The alternative and experimental rock band from the USA, who became a cult classic after the release of their first album and survived the death of their charismatic vocalist and songwriter Chester Bennington, are all part of the band “Linkin Park”, one of the most striking musical discoveries of the 21st century. The band was formed in 1996, but success came to them three years later. Then, vocalist and songwriter Mike Shinoda, drummer Rob Bourdon, DJ Joseph Hahn, guitarists Dave Farrell and Brad Delson were joined by Chester Bennington.

This line-up recorded the band’s first album, Hybrid Theory, which won a Grammy Award. Three years later, in 2003, the band released another album, Meteora, which contained the megahit Numb. The musicians discovered a new sound for themselves and their fans in their third album, which was no less successful than the first two: Minutes to Midnight sold five million copies.

Each subsequent album by Linkin Park became a musical experiment that was to the liking of the band's fans.

In 2009, the track New Divide was released, written for the film series about Transformers and recognized as one of the best in the band's career.

A failure occurred on the seventh album, released in 2017. One More Light was not accepted by either critics or fans, considering it too pop. And in the summer of the same year, Chester Bennington committed suicide.

However, the band did not break up, reminding people of themselves on significant dates: in honor of the 20th anniversary of the release of their debut album, the musicians presented a record with unreleased songs, and did the same in 2023, celebrating the anniversary of Meteora.

In the fall of 2024, the group returned to recording new songs and touring. The band added drummer Colin Brittain, but most importantly - a new vocalist Emily Armstrong.

Now "Linkin Park" is recording tracks again. In the same 2024, the band released their eighth album and delighted their fans with a concert tour.

Today, Linkin Park is a team that has confidently entered a new stage of creativity with the support of an army of loyal fans.
